WHO IS
COVERED UNDER THESE LIMITED WARRANTIES?
These limited warranties apply to you only if you: (1) are the original
consumer purchaser of any Anderson hardwood floor; (2) have paid in full
for your hardwood floor, and (3) have purchased the hardwood floor for
your own personal residential use and not for resale. These warranties
ARE NOT transferable or assignable and they DO NOT apply to
nonresidential, rental, or commercial purchases/installations.
LIMITED LIFETIME STRUCTURAL WARRANTY
Every Anderson hardwood floor is manufactured using our exclusive
engineered process. This process permanently locks the plies together to
deliver more dimensional stability and split resistance than ordinary
solid oak lumber.
In the event that the plies should separate due to gluebond failure, or
in the event that the flooring should buckle, warp or twist in a
normally maintained humidity range (35%–55% R.H.). Anderson will, at our
option, either: (1) repair the defective plank(s); (2) replace the
defective plank(s); or (3) refund the purchase price if we are unable to
provide a replacement and repair is not commercially practical or cannot
be timely made, or if you accept a refund. This is the sole and
exclusive remedy under this limited warranty. This limited warranty is
effective for as long as you own your floor as defined under the “Who is
Covered Under the Warranties?”
LIMITED LIFETIME ADHESIVE BOND WARRANTY
Anderson will warrant to the original purchaser only that the floor will
not release from the sub-floor due to moisture migrating from beneath
the sub-floor, ONLY under the following conditions: (1) at the time your
Anderson floor is installed the sub-floor is visually dry with no prior
history of moisture problems, (2) The Anderson floor is installed
according to the installation instructions using either A.F.B.
Duck-Glue™, A.F.B. Duck-Thane™ adhesive, or an Anderson approved
equivalent.
If the planks should release from the sub-floor Anderson will at our
option repair or replace the loose plank(s) ONE TIME ONLY or refund the
purchase price (as further defined below) This is the sole and exclusive
remedy under this limited warranty. Anderson will only be obligated
under this limited warranty if testing approved by Anderson conclusively
proves that the adhesive bond failure resulted from moisture migration
from beneath the sub-floor only. Anderson will not be obligated if
testing conclusively proves that the moisture came from any other source
(including but not limited to plumbing leaks, flooding, rain, landscape
watering/irrigation, wet or damp mopping, or other causes listed
herein). This limited warranty covers ONLY adhesive bond failure and
does not cover damage to the hardwood flooring as a result of sub-floor
moisture migration or any other source of moisture. If the sub-floor
moisture migration occurs a second time, it will be presumed that the
problem is specific to the site and/or was caused by the improper
application of A.F.B. Duck-Glue™, A.F.B. Duck-Thane adhesive, or an
Anderson approved equivalent and would happen again. Any damage
resulting from these causes is NOT covered under this limited warranty.
This limited lifetime warranty is effective for as long as you own your
floor as defined under the “Who is Covered Under the Warranties”.
SPECIAL NOTE: WARRANTY LIMITATIONS FOR STAPLE-DOWN OR NAIL-DOWN
INSTALLATIONS. (APPLIES TO ALL WARRANTIES UNDER WHICH ANDERSON IS OR MAY
BE OBLIGATED). Our products are not warranted against squeaking, popping
or crackling when using staple-down or nail-down installation methods.
Some squeaking, popping, or crackling is possible when using staple-down
or nail-down installation methods.
Anderson floors are NOT warranted against these occurrences UNLESS the
tongue or groove is found to be manufactured out of specification. The
possibility of squeaking, popping, or crackling may be aggravated in
arid areas or in extremely dry conditions. In addition, Anderson floors
are not warranted against staple or nail pullout from the subfloor.

conjunction with application of A.F.B. Duck-Shield™. Migration of water
through cracks in the concrete will void these limited warranties. Also,
moisture from above or flooding of the surface of the hardwood flooring
is NOT covered under these limited warranties.

further details). If Anderson elects to refund the purchase price, the
base purchase price (from which any prorata calculations shall be made)
shall be the amount you originally paid for the flooring, as shown on
your original invoice, which invoice you are required to produce. If you
are unable to produce your invoice, Anderson will use its standard
pricing tables to determine the base purchase price. NOTE that the
